Our Client is passionate about providing a professional consultancy that adds value to construction projects through advice and on-site services. To support their expansion they are looking for a talented, driven and ambitious surveyor to join the team.
With a proven track record of adding value and a focus on customer service, the successful candidate will provide a dedicated, cutting edge, expert building surveyor service to existing and future clients in a commercial market.
As part of the successful team you will be capable of establishing and building robust and effective relationships with key clients. The business will initially focus on the East of England with the strategic intention to expand nationally.
Requirements
- 3 years minimum experience in a building control surveying role within a Local Authority Building Control or Approved Inspector environment
- Able to demonstrate a practical approach to the interpretation of the Building Regulations and Associated Legislation through a wide spectrum of experience in both the residential and commercial building context.
- Demonstrable experience of dealing with and managing contraventions of the Building Regulations in the context of practical site experience and administration of the Building Act
- Full Membership of a recognised professional body such as the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Association of Building Engineers (CABE)
