What the role involves
As a Business Development Executive, your prime responsibility will be to source prospective customers, nurture and close opportunities across key sectors. More specifically, you will seek out, identify and establish relationships with those leads who are looking to grow their digital offering through thought leadership and offering genuine insight and value.
Sales prospecting – market research and targeting through telesales and email campaigns
Identify potential sales contacts via Linked In and other networking
Attending sales conferences and trade events to generate leads
Client communication – knowing your business
Pitching (after training)
Creating tailored and personalised commercial presentations
To exceed set sales targets
To exceed minimum call KPIs
To administer activity logs
To generate new business through both lapsed and new client databases
To support and contribute to team decisions and strategies.
Following up online enquiries through the website and social media
Meeting with Directors to discuss sales strategy and results, making recommendations for improvement
Possess a minimum of a year’s sales experience, ideally selling digital solutions.
You will be a confident closer, driven, proactive and committed to joining a professional, collaborative and award winning company.
You will have excellent communication skills, a broad business understanding, high levels of self-motivation and the ability to captivate at all levels.
You will be able to report on a weekly basis any successes and issues faced to turn this around week on week

You will need a confident and professional manner coupled with a creative approach to selling to make this role a success
