Our ever expanding Umbrella/Payroll/Contracting/Ltd Company Client are looking to recruit a new and exciting position of an industry experienced Business Development Manager.
This position will be mainly home and field based, with the requirement to attend their Chester head offices each Monday and when needed.
With this, the position would preferably suit a candidate located within the North West area.
Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be required to develop existing business accounts together with the proactive approach of developing new business accounts.
Working for a leading Contract Accountant and Umbrella Payroll business, with your expertise you will be involved in the following daily responsibilities.
Your position will be to cover the UK, including Scotland:
Account Management – Schedule all meetings with agenda sent prior to the meeting
Build face to face relationships and strengthen the loyalty of the existing account.
Consider ways to assist agency in developing existing business where possible.
Develop new relationships across consultants & branches to grow existing accounts whilst working with account managers.
To be responsible for the development of new business accounts – management of your own pipeline, PSL agreements.
Present to new business Clients to win new business accounts. Sell the range of products/solutions and the technical expertise, whilst explaining their service advantages at all times.
Communicate with client consultants on products to a set standard identifying any further area of technical assistance that may be required.
Complete formal presentations to adapt to your audience.
CRM updated daily and to communicate key updates into key members of the sales team regarding accounts on a regular basis.
Work strictly within agreed policies regarding credit limits & debt managing resolution where required.
Provide regular accurate forecasts for margins per account. Attend events seminars and networking events, including taking responsibility for follow up & tracking successes.
Ensure you are up to date with all legislative changes within the industry,
Track & communication of market intelligence from both agencies & competitors through CRM & Sales meetings.
Maximise Net Margin in lines with the rules set by the strategic management team.
Understand of all our solutions/offerings & be able to explain to clients.
Key Skills and Experience
A self motivated and driven individual who possesses strong sales ability. Experienced of working within the Umbrella Payroll industry sector and be able to hit the ground running. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to confidently interact and motivate colleagues Experience of completing and presenting to win new business. Experience of working on CRM systems Strong organisational and planning skills to manage own time, to meet deadlines and objectives Excellent IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint and ability to quickly learn other databases Professionalism, integrity and a strong work ethic Ability to remain positive in a target driven environment
